Punctual, good and professional. Condor Moving System is my go-to moving guys now. Fairly priced for the level of professional moving service they provide to their customers. They were very good in communication to me and among themselves. I have had many bad experiences with multiple movers before it. Condor is the first ever company that I found nobody to complain about, which is maybe a pretty rare thing to say about relocators.Thomas C Davison
Movers did a great moving job even though it was a not smooth and it's a very long job. Best value for the money we spend. They stayed professional and were kind throughout the move process. They recognized my items and if I needed to change the things, they did it for me rapidly. Very friendly teamwork. Will surly use them again!Denis Tanney
These movers did a best job even though it was a tough and time taking job. Best value for the money it cost. Stayed professional and were helpful throughout the day of move. Honored my goods and if I required things changed they did it for me in little time. Very coordinated teamwork. Will definitely use them again for coming movers!Marks Josephine
How Much Packing Do You Actually Want to Do?
Packing is the part of a move people most often underestimate, and the part where most damage happens.
A three-bedroom house is somewhere between sixty and a hundred cartons, and a kitchen alone takes most people a full day. You do not have to choose between all of it and none of it — full packing, partial packing and fragile-only packing all exist, and the right one depends on how much time you have and which rooms worry you most.
Condor operates from locations in Fort Worth and Texas and serves the entire state of Texas, running its own trucks and crews rather than subcontracted labor.
Our Texas moving services include:
- Local residential moving
- Long-distance and interstate moving
- Apartment and condo moving
- Packing services
- Office and commercial moving
- Short- and long-term storage
- Specialty-item moving
- Loading and unloading

Full Packing
The crew packs the entire contents of the home, normally the day before loading. Cartons and materials are billed separately from the packing labor, and both appear on your written estimate.

Why Customers Add Packing
Choosing a mover isn't just about finding someone with a truck. You're trusting a company with nearly everything inside your home.
No Surprises on the Invoice
Packing labor, cartons, materials and crating are itemised on the estimate before loading day, not totalled up afterwards.
Licensed for Texas & Interstate Moves
Condor operates under Texas and federal moving authority for local, intrastate and interstate relocations.
Local & Long-Distance Service
One company for moves across Texas, across Texas or across the country.
Packing & Storage Available
Add packing, specialty-item handling or storage when your move requires more than transportation.
A Texas Location
Condor has a Texas location with crews working the metro, rather than simply advertising moving services from another city.
Trucks & Crews Across Texas
Condor runs its own equipment and staffs crews throughout the state, so coverage isn't limited to a single metro or a single yard.
What Is Included and What Is Extra
Protecting your furniture is included in every move. Packing the contents of your home is not. That is the line that confuses people most, so here it is in full. Everything marked additional appears as a separate line on your written estimate before loading day.
| Service | Included or extra | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Blanket-wrapping all furniture | Included | On every move, no charge |
| Basic disassembly and reassembly | Included | Beds, tables, mirrors off dressers |
| Floor, wall and door protection | Included | Including Masonite where needed |
| Dollies, straps, pads and equipment | Included | The crew brings its own |
| Furniture placed in your chosen rooms | Included | On every move, no charge |
| Cartons and packing materials | Additional | Billed per item used |
| Shrink wrap on upholstery | Additional | Billed per roll used |
| Packing labor | Additional | Full, partial or fragile-only |
| Dish packs and specialty cartons | Additional | Dishes, mirrors, TVs, lamps, wardrobes |
| Custom wooden crating | Additional | Quoted per item from measurements |
| Unpacking | Additional | Full or partial, quoted separately |
| Carton and debris removal | Additional | On the day or on a return visit |
Packing labor is quoted on the size of the job rather than from a rate card, because a kitchen and a spare bedroom are not the same work. Materials are billed per item actually used, so an over-ordered carton is not an over-charged one.

Your Packing Options
Moving in Texas presents logistical challenges that aren't always obvious when requesting a quote. Building restrictions, truck access, traffic, weather and distance from the truck to your door can all affect moving time. Here's what we consider when planning a Texas move.
Full Packing
The crew packs the entire contents of the home, normally the day before loading — kitchen, closets, garage, attic, everything. Best when you are short on time, moving a large household, or your employer is covering the move. Cartons and materials are billed separately from the packing labor.
Partial Packing
You choose what we handle. Most people pick the kitchen, the artwork and the garage, because those three take non-packers the longest and account for most of the breakage. Everything else you pack at your own pace.
Fragile-Only Packing
Dishes, glassware, stemware, mirrors, lamps, artwork and electronics, packed by the crew into dish packs and specialty cartons. The highest-value option for the money on a self-packed move, since it covers what actually breaks.
Custom Crating
A wooden crate built around one item — marble or glass table tops, large mirrors, framed art, sculpture, chandeliers, antiques. Each is built to that item’s dimensions, so measurements or a photograph are needed to quote it.
Motorcycle Crating
Recommended when a motorcycle travels alongside household goods. The crate isolates the bike from the rest of the load and protects the bodywork. For a quote we need the year, make and model.
Unpacking & Debris Removal
Full unpacking takes everything out of cartons and onto surfaces. Partial unpacking covers only the rooms you choose. Either way the empty cartons and paper can be removed on the day or on a return visit.

Packing FAQ
Is packing included in a moving estimate?
Some of it is. Blanket-wrapping your furniture, basic disassembly and reassembly, floor and door protection and the crew’s equipment are included on every move at no extra charge. Packing the contents of your home into cartons is a separate service, and the materials — cartons, paper, bubble wrap and shrink wrap — are billed separately from the labor. Your written estimate itemises both so you can see exactly what is included and what is added.
What is the difference between full and partial packing?
Full packing means the crew packs everything — every cupboard, closet, drawer and garage shelf — usually the day before loading. Partial packing means you choose what we handle and pack the rest yourself. Most customers who take partial packing have us do the kitchen, the artwork and the garage, which are the three areas that take non-packers the longest and break most often.
Can you just pack the fragile items?
Yes, and it is the option we recommend most often. Dishes, glassware, stemware, mirrors, artwork, lamps and electronics account for most of the damage on a self-packed move. Fragile-only packing keeps the cost well below a full pack while covering the things most likely to arrive broken.
What is crating and when do I need it?
Crating is a custom wooden box built around a single item for pieces too valuable, fragile or awkward for a carton — marble and glass table tops, large mirrors, framed artwork, sculpture, chandeliers, antiques and motorcycles. Each crate is built to the item’s dimensions, so we need measurements or a photograph to quote it.
Do you unpack as well?
Yes. Unpacking can be full — everything out of cartons and placed on surfaces, with cartons and paper removed — or partial, where we open and empty the cartons you want handled and leave the rest. Unpacking is quoted separately from packing, and debris removal is available either on the day or on a return visit.
Can I pack myself and still use your crew?
Absolutely, and it is the most effective way to reduce the cost of a move. Use proper cartons rather than grocery boxes, tape the bottoms, keep each box to a weight one person can carry comfortably and label by room. Condor sells the same cartons and materials our crews use, and boxes you pack yourself are carried under standard coverage like any other item.
What can you not pack or transport?
Fuel, propane, aerosols, paint, cleaning chemicals, ammunition, fireworks, perishable food and open liquids cannot go on the truck, and plants generally cannot cross state lines. Check the non-allowables list before you start packing so nothing has to be left in a driveway on moving day.
