Pflugerville-Hutto Movers
Henry Pfluger, a German farmer who lost his land in the revolutions of 1848, settled on the blackland prairie northeast of Austin in 1849, and the town that grew up around his family's farms, helped along by the MKT rail line in 1904, still carries his name. Seven miles up the road, Hutto began in 1855 as a railroad stop on land owned by James Hutto. Both towns stayed small for most of the 1900s. That changed after SH 130 and SH 45 opened in 2006. Pflugerville counted 65,191 residents in 2020 and an estimated 68,316 in 2025, and Hutto, at 27,577 in 2020, has since been one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. Condor Moving Systems is a woman-owned mover, and our trucks and crews come from our Fort Worth and Houston locations; we have never handed a job to another company since we started in 2003. Our Pflugerville and Hutto movers handle moves across both towns, moves to and from the rest of the Austin area, and long-distance moves to other Texas cities and other states.

Punctual, good and professional. Condor Moving System is my go-to moving guys now. Fairly priced for the level of professional moving service they provide to their customers. They were very good in communication to me and among themselves. I have had many bad experiences with multiple movers before it. Condor is the first ever company that I found nobody to complain about, which is maybe a pretty rare thing to say about relocators.
Movers did a great moving job even though it was a not smooth and it's a very long job. Best value for the money we spend. They stayed professional and were kind throughout the move process. They recognized my items and if I needed to change the things, they did it for me rapidly. Very friendly teamwork. Will surly use them again!
These movers did a best job even though it was a tough and time taking job. Best value for the money it cost. Stayed professional and were helpful throughout the day of move. Honored my goods and if I required things changed they did it for me in little time. Very coordinated teamwork. Will definitely use them again for coming movers!
Pflugerville and Hutto movers: local pricing
A local move in Pflugerville or Hutto is billed by the hour, from $175 an hour for two movers and a truck. Each local job has a four-hour minimum made up of labor and a trip charge, and we figure the trip charge case by case when we quote. Our Austin movers page covers the rest of the metro. You get a binding estimate before move day showing the crew, the truck and the total. When the crew arrives, the foreman goes through the inventory with you, and anything added since the walkthrough goes on a revised estimate you sign before loading. On these jobs the hours usually depend on three things: how many bedrooms are upstairs, how full the garage is, and whether the truck can back into the driveway or has to stay on a narrow subdivision street.
Pflugerville: Falcon Pointe, Blackhawk and the lake side
Most of Pflugerville's homes are in subdivisions built since the 1990s, and many sit under homeowners associations. Falcon Pointe, Blackhawk and the neighborhoods around Lake Pflugerville, a 180-acre reservoir the city filled in 2005, all have their own rules about trucks and parking.
- HOA rules. Some associations limit where a moving truck can stand and how early work can start. Send us the rules a few days before the move.
- Two school districts and two counties. Most of the city is in Pflugerville ISD, but some streets are in Round Rock ISD or Manor ISD, and a small part of the city is in Williamson County. Check the district and county for any address before you sign.
- Old Town. The blocks around Main Street and Pecan Street hold the oldest houses, some with narrow doors and steep porch steps. Mention large pieces such as a piano or a tall armoire when you ask for an estimate.
Hutto: new construction east of SH 130
Hutto's hippo mascot comes from a local legend about a circus hippo that got loose from a train in 1915, and hippo statues still stand all over town. Today Hutto is mostly new construction. Star Ranch and the subdivisions along US 79 and FM 685 add new streets every year, and Hutto ISD keeps opening campuses to keep up. On a new home, the closing date and the builder's final walkthrough decide the move date. If closing slips, we can hold your shipment in storage and deliver it as soon as you have the keys.
Job moves on the north side of Austin
Many families move here for work. The Samsung chip plant going up in Taylor, a short drive east of Hutto, Dell's headquarters in Round Rock and the Amazon distribution center in Pflugerville are examples of the employers in the area; we name them only to describe it. If your employer is paying for the move, we bill employers and relocation management companies directly, so you are not covering the bill and waiting to be paid back. Give us the name of your relocation company when you ask for a quote, and we work out dates and paperwork with its move manager. See our corporate relocation page for how we plan several employee moves at once.
Packing, storage and office moves in Pflugerville and Hutto
Every move includes furniture pads and wrapping, plus taking apart and putting back together beds, tables and other bolted furniture. We don't take apart particleboard or flat-pack pieces. Packing is an add-on with its own price, and we crate glass tabletops, stone and framed art. Need time between the old lease and the new closing? Your shipment can sit in storage at our Fort Worth or Houston location for a monthly fee. We move offices on evenings and weekends for an extra charge, and we tell you that charge when you book. Long-distance moves from Pflugerville and Hutto
Condor holds its own interstate authority, so the crew that loads your truck in Pflugerville or Hutto is the crew that delivers it. We don't sell the job to another carrier. What to expect:
- Out-of-state moves are priced by volume. The price is based on the cubic feet of your shipment and starts at $1,200, on a binding estimate built from a full inventory.
- Moves within Texas stay hourly. A move to Houston, San Antonio or Dallas–Fort Worth is billed by the hour on a binding estimate.
- Delivery windows. Interstate shipments can share a trailer, so you get a range of delivery dates. If the house isn't ready, storage in transit holds the load.
- Routes from the SH 130 corridor. Common destinations include Washington, Michigan, North Carolina and Kansas. See the full list on our long-distance movers page.
Our federal numbers, USDOT 1126171 and MC-458180, cover every interstate load, and you receive the booklet Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move along with the estimate.
