Cedar Park Movers
Before it was Cedar Park, this spot on the Austin and Northwestern Railroad was called Running Brushy, after the spring at the head of Brushy Creek, and then Bruggerhoff, a name nobody could spell. In 1887 Emmett Cluck, whose parents George and Harriet ran cattle up the Chisholm Trail and bought the land around the spring, renamed it Cedar Park. The town voted to incorporate in 1973 with about 1,765 people. The 2020 census counted 77,595, and the 2025 estimate is 79,032, so Cedar Park is now mostly built out and most moves here are from one established home to another. Condor Moving Systems is a woman-owned mover that has used only its own employees and its own trucks since 2003. Our Cedar Park movers handle house, apartment, estate and office moves inside the city, moves to the rest of the Austin area, and long-distance moves from Cedar Park to other Texas cities and other states.

Punctual, good and professional. Condor Moving System is my go-to moving guys now. Fairly priced for the level of professional moving service they provide to their customers. They were very good in communication to me and among themselves. I have had many bad experiences with multiple movers before it. Condor is the first ever company that I found nobody to complain about, which is maybe a pretty rare thing to say about relocators.
Movers did a great moving job even though it was a not smooth and it's a very long job. Best value for the money we spend. They stayed professional and were kind throughout the move process. They recognized my items and if I needed to change the things, they did it for me rapidly. Very friendly teamwork. Will surly use them again!
These movers did a best job even though it was a tough and time taking job. Best value for the money it cost. Stayed professional and were helpful throughout the day of move. Honored my goods and if I required things changed they did it for me in little time. Very coordinated teamwork. Will definitely use them again for coming movers!
Cedar Park movers: pricing for a local move
A local move in Cedar Park is billed hourly from $175 an hour with two movers and a truck. There is a four-hour minimum, made up of three hours of labor plus a one-hour trip charge, the same as on our Austin movers page. You get a binding estimate in writing before the move with the crew, the truck and the total. On move day the foreman reviews the inventory with you; anything added since the survey goes on a revised estimate that you sign before we load. In Cedar Park, the time on a job usually comes down to how much furniture has collected over the years, how many heavy pieces are going, and how far the truck sits from the door on a cul-de-sac.
Established neighborhoods along US 183 and Brushy Creek
US 183 splits Cedar Park north to south, and the 183A toll road, opened in 2007, runs parallel to it on the east side. RM 1431 (Whitestone Boulevard) and Cypress Creek and Brushy Creek roads are the main east-west routes. Many neighborhoods off those roads were built in the 1980s and 1990s, with mature trees, two-story houses and garages that have filled up over time.
- Trees and curb space. Low branches and parked cars can keep a truck from getting close. We note the truck's spot during the survey.
- HOA and gate rules. Neighborhoods such as Buttercup Creek and Twin Creeks have homeowners associations, and some limit when trucks can park. Send us the rules before move day.
- School zones. Most of Cedar Park is in Leander ISD, but the south and east sides are in Round Rock ISD. Check the district for any address before you sign.
Estate moves and downsizing in Cedar Park
Because so many Cedar Park families have lived in the same house for 20 or 30 years, we plan a lot of estate moves and downsizing moves here. Those moves work best in steps. First the family decides what each person is keeping, then we inventory only those pieces and write one binding estimate that can include deliveries to more than one address, in Texas or out of state. Heirlooms, antiques and framed art can be crated, and we can pack a whole house or only the rooms that are moving. If the house is being sold, we can load before closing and keep the shipment in storage at our Fort Worth or Houston location until each family member is ready. Our senior movers page explains how we work with families who live far away.
Apartments near Lakeline and the H-E-B Center
Apartment communities line US 183 and the 183A toll road, from the Lakeline area to the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. That arena opened in 2009 and is home to the Texas Stars hockey team and the Austin Spurs. On a game or concert night, traffic around New Hope Drive and 183A slows, so we plan the arrival time around the event calendar. For an apartment move, reserve the loading area and any freight elevator with the leasing office, and send us its certificate of insurance requirements so we can provide the document ahead of time.
Business relocation and office moves in Cedar Park
Cedar Park's business base has grown along with its population, from the medical offices around Cedar Park Regional Medical Center to tech and aerospace companies along the 183A corridor. For a business relocation, we inventory the furniture, files and equipment, label each piece for its new room, and set the move date with your building manager. We move offices on evenings and weekends for an extra charge, and we tell you that charge when you book. When an employer is paying for an employee's move, we bill employers and relocation management companies directly. See our office movers and corporate relocation pages.
Packing and storage
Every move includes pads and wrap on the furniture and taking apart and putting back together beds, tables and other bolted pieces. We don't take apart particleboard or flat-pack furniture. Packing is a separate add-on. Details are on our packing and crating and moving and storage pages.
Long-distance moving from Cedar Park
Condor has its own interstate authority. The people who load your truck in Cedar Park drive it and unload it at your new home; your move is never sold to another company by a broker. When the move leaves Texas:
- The price follows volume. An out-of-state move is priced by the cubic feet of your shipment and starts at $1,200. A room-by-room inventory sets the binding estimate.
- Texas moves are hourly. Moving from Cedar Park to Houston, San Antonio or Dallas–Fort Worth is billed by the hour on a binding estimate.
- Delivery has a window. Your shipment may share a trailer, so we give you a delivery range. Storage in transit covers any gap.
- Frequent Cedar Park routes. Common destinations include California, North Carolina, Kentucky and Illinois. See all of them on our long-distance movers page.
Every interstate move runs under USDOT 1126171 and MC-458180, and the federal booklet Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move comes with the estimate.
