Mountain Access in the West

Uptown Charlotte & Downtown Raleigh Buildings
Condo and apartment towers in Uptown, South End, Dilworth and downtown Raleigh require a certificate of insurance naming the building, a reserved service elevator and a booked loading dock window, often weekdays only. Send us the building requirements with your estimate request.
Triangle & Charlotte New Construction
Wake, Union, Cabarrus and Iredell counties are building fast, and deliveries into new homes in Apex, Holly Springs, Waxhaw, Fort Mill and Huntersville regularly meet unfinished streets, no curb cut or a certificate of occupancy that has not landed. Tell us if your home is new build so the schedule carries slack.
Wooded Lots & Low Branches
Piedmont neighbourhoods are heavily treed, and long driveways with overhanging limbs are common across Cary, Chapel Hill, Matthews and Greensboro. A 13-foot trailer does not fit under everything. We check the approach before the move rather than discovering it on arrival.
Hurricane & Coastal Exposure
Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30, and Wilmington, the Outer Banks and the coastal plain are exposed. When a named storm is tracking toward the delivery area, dates are adjusted and shipments in transit are held in secure storage until delivery is safe.
Mountain Winter Weather
From December through March, I-40 through the Pigeon River Gorge and the roads into Boone and Beech Mountain see ice, snow and closures at short notice. Conditions are monitored ahead of your date and a shipment is held rather than run into an active closure.
