What to Expect Delivering in Florida
Florida deliveries come with paperwork and access rules that catch people out. More of the state lives under an association than almost anywhere else in the country, and that changes what has to be arranged before a truck can unload. Here is what we sort out ahead of your date.
Condo Associations & COIs
Florida condominium associations routinely require a certificate of insurance naming the association, an approved move-in window and an elevator reservation. Some require board approval before you take possession. Send us the building's requirements with your estimate request.
Gated & 55+ Communities
Communities like The Villages and much of southwest Florida control gate access, restrict move hours and sometimes limit truck size or weight on their internal roads. We confirm the rules before dispatch rather than negotiating at the gate.
Tractor-Trailer Access
Beach roads, keys, older coastal streets and tight community entrances often cannot take a full tractor-trailer. Where that is the case we shuttle the shipment in with a smaller truck, which is quoted upfront rather than added later.
Hurricane Season
Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. When a named storm is tracking toward the delivery area, dates are adjusted and shipments already in transit are held in secure storage until delivery is safe.
Snowbird Season Demand
Inbound moves to Florida spike from October through April, and the return flow runs in spring. Booking early matters more on this lane than on most, particularly for delivery into the southwest coast.
Heat & Humidity

On approval we reserve the crew and equipment, confirm your delivery window and start on any condo or HOA paperwork.

Load
Furniture is padded, and everything is inventoried and tagged as it goes on the truck. Packing (boxes, dishes, clothes, decorations, garage and attic items) is an add-on, full or partial. You get a copy of the inventory before the trailer leaves.
