What to Expect Delivering in Florida

Gated & 55+ Communities
Communities like The Villages and much of southwest Florida control gate access, restrict move hours and sometimes limit truck size or weight on their internal roads. We confirm the rules before dispatch rather than negotiating at the gate.
Tractor-Trailer Access
Beach roads, keys, older coastal streets and tight community entrances often cannot take a full tractor-trailer. Where that is the case we shuttle the shipment in with a smaller truck, which is quoted upfront rather than added later.
Hurricane Season
Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. When a named storm is tracking toward the delivery area, dates are adjusted and shipments already in transit are held in secure storage until delivery is safe.
Snowbird Season Demand
Inbound moves to Florida spike from October through April, and the return flow runs in spring. Booking early matters more on this lane than on most, particularly for delivery into the southwest coast.
Heat & Humidity
