Island & Bridge Access
Kiawah, Seabrook, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Daniel Island and Hilton Head are reached by bridges and causeways with weight and height limits, and several control gate access and move hours. We confirm the rules before dispatch rather than negotiating at the gate.
Hurricane Exposure
Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and the entire coast from Hilton Head to Myrtle Beach is exposed. When a named storm is tracking toward the delivery area, dates are adjusted and shipments in transit are held in secure storage until delivery is safe.
Raised Coastal Construction
A great deal of low country housing is raised on pilings with exterior stairs as the only way in. That changes crew size and time significantly and needs identifying when the move is quoted.
Upstate Terrain & Gated Communities
