Punctual, good and professional. Condor Moving System is my go-to moving guys now. Fairly priced for the level of professional moving service they provide to their customers. They were very good in communication to me and among themselves. I have had many bad experiences with multiple movers before it. Condor is the first ever company that I found nobody to complain about, which is maybe a pretty rare thing to say about relocators.Thomas C Davison
Movers did a great moving job even though it was a not smooth and it's a very long job. Best value for the money we spend. They stayed professional and were kind throughout the move process. They recognized my items and if I needed to change the things, they did it for me rapidly. Very friendly teamwork. Will surly use them again!Denis Tanney
These movers did a best job even though it was a tough and time taking job. Best value for the money it cost. Stayed professional and were helpful throughout the day of move. Honored my goods and if I required things changed they did it for me in little time. Very coordinated teamwork. Will definitely use them again for coming movers!Marks Josephine
Movers in Hurst, Euless and Bedford: rates and your binding estimate
Two movers and a truck cost $175 an hour, and every local move has a four-hour minimum. That minimum is three hours of labor plus a one-hour trip charge. The Mid-Cities are close to our yard, so most of the minimum goes to carrying, not driving. You'll get a binding estimate in writing before move day. On the morning of the move, the foreman goes through the inventory with you, and if anything has changed, he writes a revised estimate for you to approve before work starts. A move between two Mid-Cities is billed the same way as a move within one of them.
Hurst, Euless and Bedford: one school district, three cities
HEB ISD runs a junior high model: grades 7 to 9 attend junior high, and grades 10 to 12 attend L.D. Bell High School in Hurst or Trinity High School in Euless. Your street, not your city name, decides the campus. Each city has its own character:
- Hurst. North East Mall opened here in 1972, Tarrant County College's Northeast Campus is here, and the Hurst/Bell station on the TEXRail line is a short drive away. Many homes date from the 1950s through the 1970s, with ranch layouts and mature trees.
- Euless. The city borders DFW International Airport, and Glade Parks and the Bear Creek area are its newer, busier corners. Euless has many apartment communities, so we often ask about elevators, stairs and loading spots.
- Bedford. Mostly residential, with established neighborhoods and townhomes on smaller lots between SH 183 and SH 121.
North Richland Hills, Colleyville and Grapevine
North Richland Hills is the third-largest city in Tarrant County, and its schools are split between Birdville ISD and Keller ISD. Colleyville has larger homes on bigger lots, and long driveways and two-story staircases set the pace of the day. Grapevine, settled in 1844, has a historic Main Street and many homes and apartments close to DFW Airport.
Here's what we ask for on an apartment or townhome move in the Mid-Cities:
- An elevator reservation at both addresses, if the buildings have elevators.
- A loading spot the manager approves, close to your stairwell or door.
- The certificate of insurance wording the property requires. We'll send the COI before move day.
Moving services in the Mid-Cities: packing, disassembly and storage
Our moving services in Hurst, Euless and Bedford cover more than loading the truck. We take apart and put back together bed frames, dining tables and other standard furniture at no extra charge. We don't take apart particleboard or flat-pack furniture. Packing is a separate add-on: a full pack, a partial pack or just the kitchen. Our packing and crating page lists the options. If your move-out and move-in dates don't line up, we can store your things at our Fort Worth warehouse, billed by the month. See moving and storage.
Corporate relocation in the Mid-Cities and office moves
The Mid-Cities sit between two downtowns and next to DFW Airport. GameStop has its headquarters in Grapevine, Kubota moved its U.S. headquarters to Grapevine in 2017, and Bell's headquarters is just south of Hurst. For corporate relocation in the Mid-Cities, we bill employers and relocation management companies directly, so a transferring employee doesn't have to front the cost. See office movers and corporate relocation.
Moving out of state from the Mid-Cities
Many Mid-Cities moves start with a job offer in another state. When you book with us, the same company carries the job from start to finish: Condor holds its own interstate authority, and our own crew loads in Hurst, Euless or Bedford, drives the truck and unloads at your new home. We never hand the job to a broker.
- Priced by cubic feet. A move to another state is priced by the volume you ship, from $1,200 with a 200 cubic foot minimum. We build your binding estimate from a room-by-room inventory.
- Texas moves are hourly. Going to Houston, Austin or San Antonio? That move is billed by the hour, also on a binding estimate.
- A delivery spread, not a single day. Long-distance trailers can carry more than one household, so your estimate gives a delivery window. Storage in transit covers a gap if your new home isn't ready.
- Lanes we run. See Texas to California, Texas to Colorado, Texas to Georgia and Texas to North Carolina, or the full list on our long-distance movers page.
Our USDOT number is 1126171 and our MC number is MC-458180. With your estimate, we send the federal Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move booklet.
The route from our Fort Worth yard
Crews leave 4009 E Loop 820 S, Fort Worth, TX 76119 and take Loop 820 north to SH 183 or SH 121. Typical distances and drive times with clear roads:
- Hurst: about 11 miles, 16 minutes
- North Richland Hills: about 11 miles, 16 minutes
- Bedford: about 13 miles, 18 minutes
- Colleyville: about 14 miles, 22 minutes
- Euless: about 17 miles, 22 minutes
- Grapevine: about 22 miles, 29 minutes
SH 183, SH 121 and the TxDOT TEXpress lanes on North Loop 820 carry heavy airport and commuter traffic, so we plan start times around the rush.
