Frisco Movers
Frisco straddles the Collin–Denton county line and took its name from the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway, which laid track through the area in the early 1900s. The 2020 census counted 200,509 residents, and the Census Bureau's July 2024 estimate put the city at 235,208. That is roughly 35,000 more people in four years, most of them in new subdivisions and in apartment buildings along the Dallas North Tollway. If you're comparing moving companies in Frisco, TX, here is who we are. Condor Moving Systems is a woman-owned mover based in Fort Worth. Punctual, good and professional. Condor Moving System is my go-to moving guys now. Fairly priced for the level of professional moving service they provide to their customers. They were very good in communication to me and among themselves. I have had many bad experiences with multiple movers before it. Condor is the first ever company that I found nobody to complain about, which is maybe a pretty rare thing to say about relocators.Thomas C Davison
Movers did a great moving job even though it was a not smooth and it's a very long job. Best value for the money we spend. They stayed professional and were kind throughout the move process. They recognized my items and if I needed to change the things, they did it for me rapidly. Very friendly teamwork. Will surly use them again!Denis Tanney
These movers did a best job even though it was a tough and time taking job. Best value for the money it cost. Stayed professional and were helpful throughout the day of move. Honored my goods and if I required things changed they did it for me in little time. Very coordinated teamwork. Will definitely use them again for coming movers!Marks Josephine
Local movers in Frisco, TX: what a move costs
Two movers and a truck cost $175 an hour. Every local job has a four-hour minimum, made up of three hours of labor and a trip charge. Frisco is farther from our yard than most of our service area, so its trip charge may exceed 1 hour. Your estimate shows the exact amount. It is a binding estimate: the crew, the trucks and the total are in writing before we load anything. If your inventory has grown since the walkthrough, the foreman rewrites the estimate on paper and you approve it before work starts.
Gated and master-planned Frisco neighborhoods
- Starwood. More than 900 custom homes sit on about 550 acres off the tollway. Starwood has three controlled entry gates, and the main gate is staffed around the clock. Register the truck with the guard, or send us the resident access steps, before move day. Some of these homes need more than one truck. If so, your estimate will list it.
- Phillips Creek Ranch. This 958-acre community on the old B.F. Phillips quarter-horse ranch has about 2,300 single-family lots and roughly 850 apartment and urban-living units. It's on the Denton County side, near FM 423. Its amenity center hosts concerts and movie nights, so ask the HOA about event dates before you pick a move date.
- Brand-new sections. Frisco is still opening subdivisions, and street names or house numbers there sometimes show up before map apps have them. Send us a map pin or the builder's lot and block number along with the street address.
Frisco ISD runs 77 schools, including 12 high schools. Parts of Frisco are zoned to Lewisville, Little Elm or Prosper ISD instead, so a Frisco mailing address doesn't settle which district you're in. Check the district map for your exact address before signing a lease or a contract.
Frisco Station, HALL Park and tollway mid-rises
The North Platinum Corridor along the Dallas North Tollway has added thousands of apartments in mid-rise and high-rise buildings:
- Frisco Station. This 242-acre development sits on the northwest side of the tollway between Warren Parkway and John Hickman Parkway, next to the Cowboys headquarters at The Star. It had delivered about 955 mid- and high-rise apartment units by 2024, and its plan calls for 2,400.
- HALL Park. This 162-acre office campus on Gaylord Parkway has added The Monarch, a 214-unit residential building, and plans about 2,000 more homes.
These buildings usually set rules for the loading dock and freight elevator. Here is what to send us:
- Reserved elevator time at both buildings, plus the dock or garage clearance height.
- The certificate of insurance wording your property manager requires. We'll send the COI before move day.
- Gate or garage access for the truck, including any visitor-parking limits.
- Lot or street-parking rules if the dock is too low. Our in-state trucks are 26-foot box trucks. If one can't reach your door, we'll find that out during the survey and price a shuttle truck, from $450, at that time. Don't expect it as a move-day surprise.
Moving services in Frisco, TX: packing, disassembly and storage
Our moving services in Frisco cover more than loading the truck. We take apart and put back together beds, dining tables and other standard furniture at no extra charge. We don't take apart particleboard or flat-pack pieces. Packing is a separate add-on. It can cover the whole house or just the kitchen, artwork and fragile items. Our packing and crating page lists the options. If your new Frisco home isn't ready on closing day, we can store your things at our Fort Worth warehouse. Storage is billed by the month, not at a flat rate. Details are on our moving and storage page.
Corporate relocation in Frisco and office moves
The Star, PGA of America's headquarters at the PGA Frisco campus in Fields, and the office towers along the tollway bring a steady stream of employee transfers and office moves. For corporate relocation in Frisco, we bill employers and relocation management companies directly. We move offices on evenings and weekends for an extra charge, and we tell you that charge when you book. See office movers and corporate relocation. If you're an employer planning a group move, our guide to corporate relocation in Frisco covers the planning side.
Moving out of state from Frisco
Frisco's corporate campuses bring employees in on transfers, and the next transfer can take them out of state. We hold our own interstate authority, so the Condor crew that packs your Frisco house drives the shipment and unloads it at the other end. No broker resells the job, which is the main thing to check when you compare long distance movers in Texas. Here's how a long-distance move differs from a local one:
- Out-of-state pricing is by volume. We price moves to other states by the cubic feet you ship, not by the hour. They start at $1,200, with a 200 cubic foot minimum. Your binding estimate is built from a room-by-room inventory.
- Moves within Texas stay hourly. A move from Frisco to Houston, Austin or San Antonio is billed by the hour, like a local move, on a binding estimate.
- Delivery comes in a window. A trailer may carry more than one household, so your estimate lists a delivery spread instead of a single day. If the new place isn't ready, we can keep the shipment in storage in transit.
- Popular lanes. We have route pages for Texas to California, Texas to Colorado, Texas to Florida and Texas to Georgia. Every lane we serve is listed on our long-distance movers page.
Long-distance moves run under USDOT 1126171 and MC-458180, and you'll get the federal Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move booklet with your estimate.
The route from our Fort Worth yard
Crews leave 4009 E Loop 820 S, Fort Worth, TX 76119. They usually take Loop 820 to SH 183 and SH 121, then the Sam Rayburn Tollway, which is SH 121 on the frontage-road signs, and then the Dallas North Tollway:
- Phillips Creek Ranch: 42 miles, about 52 minutes
- Frisco Station (Warren Parkway): 45 miles, about 53 minutes
- Starwood: 45 miles, about 54 minutes
- Frisco Square: 47 miles, about 56 minutes
Those times assume clear roads. Rush hour on the Sam Rayburn Tollway, game nights at Toyota Stadium and Riders Field, and big events at The Star all add time. We plan the start time around them.

Frisco movers FAQ
Can your truck get through the Starwood guard gate?
Yes. Add us to your guest list or give the guard our arrival window. If your HOA sets moving hours, send them to us and we'll schedule inside them.
Do you move apartments at Frisco Station and other tollway buildings?
Yes. Reserve the freight elevator and dock at both buildings, and tell us what your property manager needs on the certificate of insurance. We'll send the COI before your date.
How much do movers cost in Frisco, TX?
For a local move, our rate is $175 an hour for two movers and a truck, with a four-hour minimum. That minimum is three hours of labor plus the trip charge, which for Frisco may exceed 1 hour. A move from Frisco to another state is priced by the cubic foot and starts at $1,200. Both come on a binding estimate.
Why can the Frisco trip charge be higher than in Fort Worth?
Frisco is about 45 miles from our yard, so the drive takes longer than it does for jobs closer to Fort Worth. Your binding estimate shows the trip charge before you book.
My new build in Frisco isn't finished yet. What happens to my furniture?
We can load it and keep it at our Fort Worth warehouse until the builder hands over the keys. Storage is billed by the month.
Do you handle long-distance moves from Frisco to another state?
Yes. Our own crews load in Frisco and deliver to your new home, with no broker in between. Out-of-state moves are priced by the cubic foot on a binding estimate, and the estimate shows your delivery window.
How far ahead should I book a Frisco move?
Book at least two weeks ahead, for a local or a long-distance move. For the end of the month, and for summer moves before Frisco ISD starts school, book earlier than that.
Get your Frisco local or long-distance estimate
To book movers in Frisco, TX, send us your current and new addresses, even if the new one is in another state, and a rough room count. We'll set up a Zoom walkthrough or an in-home survey and then email you a binding estimate.
